The sun's image can be seen in an ocean, a river, a lake, a pond or a well. Everywhere the sun appears to be shining. Are there so many different suns? No! The objects reflecting the image of the sun are varied and different from one another. Likewise, names and forms may be different, but in all beings, the same God, without being divided, shines as the indweller. Thus, although bodies may appear with different names and forms, the Divine in them is one.
Sathya Sai Baba

You must be a lotus unfolding its petals when the sun rises in the sky, unaffected by the slush where it is born or even the water which sustains it!
Sathya Sai Baba

Allow them to bathe in sunshine. Allow them to grow at their own pace. Do not force them to grow or to remain ungrown. Don't make your children Bonsais. Beautiful plants for your living room, yes, but dwarfs are used only in the circus. They can turn into good clowns. How many Rockfellers would employ a dwarf to head their teams? This world, with all its talks on human rights and all that crap, is yet to see a dwarf as a minister to sit in the cabinet. Bonsais are beautiful. The are almost perfect. But they don't grow. If they start growing, you immediately put a stop to their growth. You don't want a tree in your living room, you want a Bonsai. The moment they start growing, you cut them on their size.

This is the way you are treating your children too. You deliberately stop them from growing. You call this love ?

The choice is in your hands, a Bonsai - beautiful, perfect, but no growth - or a tree laded with fruits and flowers. At times growing wild, yet beautiful. It gives you shade, turns your houses into pleasant homes to live in.
