Incarnated by the left eye of Amitabha, she manifests the merciful heart of Avalokitesvara. Since there are seven eyes on her face, hands and feet, she is also called the seven eyed Mother Buddha. Her three facial eyes represent the three doors to liberation (the three emptinesses) and the other four on her palms and soles symbolize the four immeasurables (love, compassion, joy and equanimity).

According to the Buddhist Scriptures, anyone who studies and practises her Dharma can lengthen his span of life, add to his luck and wisdom, cut off the root of transmigration, prevent all demons, epidemic diseases, pains and miseries, and obtain whatever he wants.
