Swami Ramalinga, Vallalar of the Light of Divine Grace
Ramalinga wrote that his mortal body became resplendent with a golden hue and transformed into a body of love. His body cast no shadow. He is not affected or limited by the five great elements, earth, water, fire, air and ether. His senses can perceive at a distance, and their knowledge is universal and omniscient. He is unlimited by time, space and the other laws of nature, nor does he require food, sleep and sex. There is no aging of his body, nor is it disturbed by weapons of any kind. He can create and destroy at will. He can revive the dead to life, and restore youth to the bodies of the aged. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.

Sri Agastya Maha Muni
He is considered the guru of many other Siddhars. He is also acknowledged, in occult circles, as the head of a representative group of rishis entrusted with the guiding of the destiny of India and other nations called the Sapta Rishis and also in theosophical writings. Sri Agastiyar is also considered the author of several Rig Vedic hymns in Sanskrit and transmitted to several of his disciples over the ages the Kriya yoga techniques of divinising the cells of the body and rendering the physical body deathless for centuries(as in the case of the 18 Siddhas and Kriya Babaji).

As a child, Sri Ramakrishna showed wonderful qualities of purity and love. He loved the company of Sadhus. Sri Ramakrishna was unique in every respect.  He explored each of the world's great religions. When a Sufi taught him about Islam, Sri Ramakrishna lived the life of a devout Muslim and soon had the vision of Prophet Mohammed. Not long afterwards, he was attracted to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Soon he had the vision of Jesus also, and another of Mother Mary and the holy child. In the same manner he had a vision of Lord Buddha. Sri Ramakrishna taught the world that God can be realised through all religions. This great truth came to him through his direct spiritual experience.

Shakyamuni Buddha
A buddha-mind is a pure consciousness. It is like a mirror: it simply reflects, it does not project. It has no ideas, no content, no thoughts, no desires, no imagination, no memory. It is present to the everpresent, it lives in the present. And when you are totally in the present, the mind disappears, it loses all its boundaries. A great emptiness arises in you. Of course that emptiness is not empty in the ordinary sense of the word, it is also a kind of fullness -- empty as far as the world is concerned, but full, overfull, flooded, as far as truth is concerned. Empty because all misery has been thrown out, overflowing because bliss has descended in.

The most eye-catching thing about the Jeweled Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas is that the walls on all four sides are covered with a grid of compartments, and each compartment contains a statue of a Buddha. It should be mentioned that these ten thousand Buddha statues were made by the Venerable Master himself over ten years ago. It is said that when the Master cast the molds, he added a snatch of his own hair (The hair of the Living Enlightened Master) to each statue.

The Perfection of Wisdom or Prajna Paramita Hridayam Sutras
Nothingness is the taste of this whole sutra. Become nothing and you will be all. Only the losers can be the winners in this game. Lose all and you will have all. Cling, possess, and you will lose all. Tao, no ego, no-mind, nobodiness, nothingness, in tune with the whole. That is the whole message of Prajnaparamita Sutra, the Heart Sutra: gate gate paragate -- gone, gone, gone beyond -- parasamgate bodhi svaha -- gone altogether beyond. 'Nothing' is the greatest mantra. If you can enter into nothingness, then nothing else is needed. And that is the whole message of the Prajnaparamita Sutra.

Avalokitesvara, The Bodhisattva who regards the World's Sound
One prominent Buddhist story tells of Avalokiteśvara vowing never to rest until he had freed all sentient beings from samsara. Despite strenuous effort, he realizes that still many unhappy beings were yet to be saved. After struggling to comprehend the needs of so many, his head splits into eleven pieces. Amitabha Buddha, seeing his plight, gives him eleven heads with which to hear the cries of the suffering. Upon hearing these cries and comprehending them, Avalokiteśvara attempts to reach out to all those who needed aid, but found that his two arms shattered into pieces. Once more, Amitabha comes to his aid and invests him with a thousand arms with which to aid the suffering multitudes.

Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara
Mahavira preached that from eternity, every living being (soul) is in bondage to karmic atoms accumulated by good or bad deeds. These result in further accumulation of karma. 'Your outside is not valuable. Your inside is your existence. Every action of yours decides the nature of your soul. Every action of yours creates you. There is no other judge except you'.

The Goddess Gayatri
The goddess Gayatri is considered the veda mata (a portrayal of Brahman himself, in the feminine form), the mother of all Vedas and the consort of the God Brahma and also the personification of the all-pervading Parabrahman, the ultimate unchanging reality that lies behind all phenomena. By many Hindus, the Gayatri is seen as a Divine awakening of the mind and soul, and within it a way to reach the most Supreme form of existence, and the way to Union with Brahman.

Wei Tuo and Guan Gong, The Guardians of Buddhist Dharma
In Chinese Buddhism, Guan Gong and Wei Tuo are revered by most practicing Buddhists as Sangharama Bodhisattvas, a protector of the Buddhist dharma, the Great Gods Who Subdue Demons of the Three Worlds and Whose Awe Spreads Far and Moves Heaven.  Over time, both of them were seen as a representative sangharama guardians of the temple and the garden in which it stands. Guan Gong's statue is usually located on the far left of the main shrine, opposite his counterpart, Wei Tuo Pu Sa.
